White Hot Chocolate

A single batch of this homemade white hot chocolate recipe warms you up on a cold day, while a double (or triple!) batch dressed up with festive garnishes is perfect for a holiday party.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 8 ounces white baking chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Optional: Whipped cream and white chocolate curls

Directions

  1. Pour milk into a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a simmer 2-3 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Stir in white chocolate until melted, 1-2 minutes. Add vanilla extract and salt; stir to combine.
  2. Pour hot chocolate into 4 mugs. If desired, top with whipped cream and white chocolate curls.
