Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

For all the fans of combining peanut butter with chocolate, this almost no-bake chocolate peanut butter pie is the dessert of your dreams.

Ingredients

  • 20 Oreo Thins, finely crushed (about 1-1/4 cups)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • FILLING:
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • Optional: Chocolate curls, chopped peanuts or chocolate cookie crumbs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. In a small bowl, combine cookie crumbs and sugar; stir in butter. Press onto the bottom and up the side of a 9-in. pie plate. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
  2. For filling, beat the cream cheese, peanut butter, sugar, butter and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth. Fold in whipped cream. Gently spoon into crust. If desired, top with chocolate curls, chopped peanuts or cookie crumbs. Store in refrigerator.
