Now, for all you delivery pizza lovers out there, have you heard of the Domino’s Pizza secret menu? Something tells me you haven’t. It all started back in February when Domino’s introduced the any-topping pizza for $9.99 deal. I remember it well. That’s how I found out my perfect pizza is sausage, green pepper and pineapple. Highly recommend it. Anyway, I’m here to tell you this “Best Deal Ever” is back, and it’s got some truly unique pizza combos to go with it.
What is the Domino’s Pizza Secret Menu?
We’re used to fast-food restaurant secret menus, but from a pizza place? Yup, it’s real! And while most other secret menus are usually created by their dedicated clientele, this one’s just a bit different. To accompany the $9.99 any-topping pizza deal, Domino’s turned to its own chefs for their topping expertise.
Rachel’s Sweet Buffalo
This is for all you hot and sweet fans out there. Start with a New York Style crust, and add the classic Robust Inspired Tomato Sauce, bacon, pepperoni, pineapple and hot Buffalo sauce. Now, as a pineapple pizza fanatic, I might be a bit biased, but this pizza was absolutely calling my name.
First of all, the New York Style crust was a phenomenal choice. As a Chicago gal, choosing other famous state crusts feels somewhat treasonous. For this ‘za, though, it was the right choice. The thin crust made a great canvas that let the toppings shine. That being said, the pineapple and hot Buffalo sauce were the highlights here. They brought the most wondrous sweet heat, and I finished my slice before I even realized. Unfortunately, the pepperoni and bacon did take a backseat flavor-wise, but they still made a fantastic fusion overall. This was my favorite of the bunch.
Spencer’s Garlic Parm Bananza
We’re starting with Handmade Pan crust for this one. Next, add Garlic Parmesan Sauce, banana peppers, sausage and shredded Parmesan Asiago cheese. This one automatically wins points for me since it’s my favorite crust from Domino’s. Sadly, if you’re a fan of the Handmade Pan, you know it’s only available as a medium size—no large or XL available. That just means you’ll have more room for Loaded Tots!
Spencer’s is for the serious cheese lover. I enjoy my fair share, but I’ve never been a cheese-on-everything kinda girl. That being said, it was still incredibly tasty. The cheese was soft, the sausage provided good texture and the banana peppers rounded out the saltiness. And, of course, the crust was unmatched. For me personally, I would have liked at least twice as many banana peppers, or maybe even some hot Buffalo sauce drizzled on top for that extra kick. Either way, it’s still a stellar deal.
Hannah’s Alfredo Veggie Melt
Not into meat? No problem! Hannah’s got you covered. Start with the Crunchy Thin crust and add Alfredo sauce, green peppers, mushrooms, onions, spinach, feta and shredded Parmesan Asiago cheese.
I was a bit skeptical of this one even though I could absolutely house a supreme pizza any day of the week. Needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The thin crust created a flatbread feel, and it made it so easy to keep eating. And what it lacked in meat, it made up for in flavor.
The Alfredo created a cheesy base that balanced the variety of veggies. I’m not a huge fan of mushrooms and onions on my pizza, but they did nothing to detract from the taste. I noticed the spinach and feta over everything else, and those two were my favorite toppings by far. The myriad textures made each bite special. My only criticisms are that it was a bit too salty for my taste, and, of course, I wished for a little heat. Otherwise, this is a lovely veggie option.
How long is the Domino’s Pizza Secret Menu going to be around?
While the deal only lasts through the end of July, the secret menu won’t magically disappear if you find yourself eternally bonded to one of these three options. Since these are all regular menu toppings, you can make these whenever you please! Just be prepared to pay a little extra after the $9.99 deal flutters away. But then again, can you really put a price on happiness?
