Cracker Barrel has gotten a lot more fun since they added alcohol to the menu back in 2020. Pairing wine, beer and cocktails with the restaurant’s down-home staples gives a whole new meaning to “southern comfort.”
This summer, Cracker Barrel is adding to the fun with the release of the Rocket Pop Mimosa. This buzzy new drink combines Cracker Barrel’s popular strawberry mimosa with a true symbol of summer: a Rocket Pop.
Everything We Know About This Cracker Barrel Mimosa
The strawberry mimosa is already a hit by itself, with a refreshing strawberry flavor and of course, a generous helping of sparkling wine. But adding a Rocket Pop, aka one of our favorite Popsicles? A stroke of absolute genius.
According to those who have tried it, Cracker Barrel’s Rocket Pop Mimosa is one of the top items on the drink menu. They recommend letting the drink sit for a few minutes so the Rocket Pop can melt. This way, the flavors from the Popsicle can blend into the mimosa. Summertime is the perfect opportunity to appreciate life (and mimosas) at a slower pace, after all.
When Can I Get It?
The Rocket Pop Mimosa is available at Cracker Barrel right now! The colorful cocktail will be on the menu at participating locations through August 7, so you’ve got plenty of time to try one. Not all locations carry the mimosa, so you may want to verify whether your local Cracker Barrel is serving the drink. Prices may vary based on the location, but my personal Cracker Barrel contact says the new mimosa costs $6.29 at her local restaurant.
If you’d like to re-create the new Cracker Barrel mimosa at home, you can simply pick up a box of Rocket Pops (Bomb Pops and Firecrackers will also work!) at the supermarket and plunge them into a round of homemade strawberry mimosas. Thanks to the drink’s patriotic color scheme, it’ll fit right in at Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day weekend cookouts.
